The Effect of Emotional Intellingence, Emotional Iabor and Job Stress on Nurses¡¯ Job Performance

Abstract

Background: This study was a descriptive survey research on nurse¡¯s Job performance to identify the effects of emotional intellingence, emotional labor, job stress.
Method: The participants were 166 shift nurses working at three general hospital. Data were analyzed with Multiple Regression Analysis.
Results: The most important factor affecting nurse¡¯s Job performance was deep acting of Emotional intellingence (¥â=0.394), Emotional labor (¥â=0.350), which together explained there job satisfaction up to 45.6% (F=24.013, p<0.001).
Conclusion: Through this study result, the factors influencing nurse¡¯s Job performance were deep acting of emotional intellingence, emotional labor was the most influential factor. The results of this study improve nurse¡¯s Job performance, deep action is needed for nurses to operate educational program.
